Hello Friends, I hope all is well with you! I am going to be reviewing the American Express Green Credit Card today. These opinions are my own, and I am in no way influenced by anyone.
Overall Verdict: I would consider the American Express Green credit card a premium rewards credit card. This card has really nice benefits, a high reward amount in certain categories, and a sign-up bonus. Additionally, this card does not have a foreign transaction fee. However, the card does have a pretty high annual fee.
Some things about this card that I do like:
Some of the things that I don’t like:
The Amex Green credit card offers you the opportunity to earn membership points for every dollar that you spend. The points are accumulated in your account until you are ready to use them. Amex offers you a variety of ways to redeem your points. You are able to redeem your points for a statement credit, redeem your points for gift cards, merchandise, and use your points on entertainment. Additionally, you are also able to make certain purchases directly with your points. Furthermore, you are also able to transfer your membership points to frequent traveler loyalty programs. Lastly, you are also able to use your points to book travel through Amex’s travel website. This rewards credit card has so many ways to redeem rewards.
This rewards credit card has a $150 annual fee.
The American Express Green credit card offers you the opportunity to earn 3x points for every dollar that you spend on transit, travel, and at restaurants. Transit purchases include ridesharing, subways, ferries, and monthly tolls. All other purchases will earn you 1x points for every dollar that you spend. Amex does have some special offers that let you earn extra points for buying or shopping from certain brands or stores. If you don’t spend in the categories above, this card will not be worth the annual fee.
This Amex rewards credit card has a sign-up bonus of 45,000 membership points when you spend $2,000 or more in purchases in the first three months of the account opening. That’s about a 23% return on the money that you would have spent anyway.

There are a couple of ways you can contact their customer service. The first and most common way would be to call the number on the back of the card. The second way to contact them would be through their online chat system; you would initiate this chat by logging into your account and clicking on the “Chat” icon. It’s important to note that your experience with their customer service may vary from time to time and from issue to issue depending on the agent that you get.
